You may be eligible for funding assistance through one of the following organizations.
Compass Career College is proud to be affiliated with the Sallie Mae Financial Corporation. SLM offers financial assistance to students who are attending school for the purpose of career training. They offer affordable payments & fast approval. Ask for an application.
Motivational Educational Training – To qualify you must have worked on a farm or farm related industry within the past 24 months
Louisiana Vocational Rehabilitation funding is accepted at Compass Career College. For more information your admissions representative.
Veterans Administration – Contact the VA directly
Federal Student Aid – This includes Pell Grants and Student Loans (Direct Loan Program)
Louisiana Workforce Investment Act (LWIA) – The office is located on Railroad Avenue and will pay one hundred percent of tuition to those who qualify.
Students who are unable to secure funding from the above sources may have their accounts handled internally. This involves making a down payment on the course of study chosen (amount of down payment is dependent upon which course is chosen) and making regularly scheduled payments on the balance due on the course. For complete information on internal accounts, speak with the Director.
